Sydney Harbour Bridge

PYLON LOOKOUT
COMMEMORATIVE WINDOWS

Located in the Pylon Lookout in the South-Eastern pylon of the world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, Robin was asked to design Stained Glass windows that commemorated the workers who built the bridge between 1922 and 1932.

Each window consists of three features, each approximately 700cm x 2 metres tall.

The left hand window depicts, from top to bottom, a riveter, a stonemason and a surveyor. The right hand window depicts a painter, a rigger and a concreter.
